About Amy

My name is Amy Lacey and I am the owner and operator of Amy Lacey Weddings. My love for coordinating weddings and events started in 1997 when I helped a college friend plan her wedding.  I love helping people, and with a servants heart and a background in the service industry, my goal is to take care of you and your loved ones as well as all of the details so nothing falls through the cracks and you can enjoy your party! 

I've been married to my best friend, Greg, since 2005 and we have 2 children, 2 dogs and 1 cat.  My oldest daughter attends Sam Houston State University (Eat 'Em Up, Kats!) where she is studying Psychology and Education, and my youngest spawn (their word!) is in Middle School and attends a Performing Arts Conservatory where they are a Musical Theatre Major.  Outside of Weddings and Events, I enjoy playing soccer, riding 4 wheelers with my family, horseback riding, traveling, singing, and driving my youngest to and from theater rehearsals.

My philosophy in life and in my business is: "If I am enjoying myself, so is everyone else!"  I'm excited to be on this journey with you and your partner!  And I can't wait to help you have the wedding of your dreams!

The Small Details

There is NOTHING I won't help you with! Need a personal umbrella holder?  I'm there!  Need a band-aid for a blister? Give me your foot!  Consider me your personal assistant on your special day. During the planning process I will help you find vendors, look over contracts, be your sounding board and your therapist if you need an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on.  All of my events become personal, and I treat each client like they are my own family member.  I don't offer packages because it's not in me to tell a client I can't help them since they didn't pay me more money.  You get 100%, 100% of the time!
